Experience has shown that progress in combatting corruption benefits from coordination and collaboration across a diverse spectrum of stakeholders, including civil society organizations, public sector agencies, academia, the private sector, international development organizations, and bilateral development agencies. Å·ÃÀÈÕb´óƬ has launched its Anticorruption for Development (AC4D) Global Partnership to foster those goals, and help scale up knowledge and innovation. BENEFITS OF BECOMING A MEMBER

By joining AC4D Global Partnership, Partners can multiply their impact by leveraging the knowledge and resources of other partners, including the WBG. Through shared knowledge, co-hosting of events, and co-production of innovative solutions to common problems in the justice reform space, Partners can give more visibility to their products. Partners can also optimize their resources by prioritizing work and research on current knowledge gaps thus avoiding duplication of efforts across organizations and maximizing cooperation.By joining AC4D Global Partnership, Partners benefit from collaborating on joint activities, including:

• Co-hosting of learning events to bridge anticorruption effort research with Governance GP
• Co-hosting of global fora to facilitate implementation-focused knowledge exchange
• Co-create innovative solutions and knowledge to corruption and development issues
• Contribute to policy relevant research and dialogue to address corruption challenges
• Benefit from the knowledge and training provided by other partners

OBJECTIVE

The main objectives of the AC4D Global Partnership are:

• Promote concerted anticorruption efforts focusing on development and leveraging the strengths of development partners, governments, civil society, academia, and the private sector.
• Facilitate an implementation-focused exchange of knowledge and experiences of applied anticorruption activities and assistance among global partners.
• Bridge corruption research with anticorruption practice by facilitating the exchange of ideas between corruption scholars and anticorruption practitioners for greater effectiveness at the sector and country levels.
• Foster innovation in anticorruption.
• Convene global fora and working groups to enable regular engagement among global partners.
• Identify and deepen engagements on specific themes and anticorruption work streams (e.g., beneficial ownership transparency; data and technology; procurement and contract management; accountability institutions, and the rule of law)

Leading thinkers, innovators, and practitioners from around the world gathered to exchange ideas, share best practices, and collaborate on leveraging emerging technologies like AI to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability in public sector institutions.?

Governance in the Digital Era, Washington D.C., May 2023?

The first GovTech Global Forum focused on "Governance in the Digital Era" was hosted by the World Bank's Governance Global Practice in May 2023. This forum convened the world's top thinkers, innovators, and practitioners on GovTech to exchange ideas and shape public sector digital transformation for a sustainable, equitable future.?

Public Sector Innovation Working Groups?

These groups provide thought leadership, facilitate idea exchanges, and support the creation of effective GovTech solutions. Current groups include:?

Through these Working Groups, each arranged around a technical GovTech workstream, the World Bank convenes experts from governmental and non-governmental stakeholders worldwide. Working Group members co-develop knowledge products that assemble and advance experience and expertise on a technical GovTech workstream. Products may include playbooks, how-to notes, surveys, and benchmarks.
